Position: Operations Officer Location: Kisumu and Oyugis, Kenya.
Katalang Security Services is a security solutions provider operating in Western Kenya, offering a comprehensive range of services including manned guarding, event security, dog guarding, dog training, dog breeding, dog boarding, electric fence installation, CCTV installation, security alarm installation, and fire extinguisher installation and servicing. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Officer to join our team.
Job Description: As the Operations Officer at Katalang Security Services, the incumbent will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our security services. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our manned guarding, event security, dog services, and security installations, including electric fences, CCTV systems, security alarms, and fire extinguishers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the security industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of security operations, including manned guarding, event security, and security installations.
- Familiarity with dog services, including dog guarding, training, breeding, and boarding, is a plus.
- Familiarity with electric fencing, CCTV systems, security alarms, and fire extinguishers is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse workforce.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to make quick decisions and handle challenging situations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
